I seem to have to login twice in order to post. For example, if I login immediately on arriving at the site, then choose discussion, access a thread to read it, I then have to login again in order to post. I think previewing both the trimmed and full versions is perhaps an unnecessary confusion.

This may be related to your browsers cache, where if you visited a page before without having logged in then that 'version' of the page is stored on your computer so its quicker to load next time you view it. If the problem happens again, try refreshing the page in question, if that doesn't work let me know and i'll try work out if its another issue.

Thanks, Tom, that seems to

Thanks, Tom, that seems to be exactly right.
Do you think this is something that a lot of people are going to experience. If not, then no problem.
And what do you think about the review trimmed post issue?

They may do, though its an unavoidable problem (without sacrificing things like speed) & the nature of this type of site i'm afraid. Cache is one of things people should be aware of....

And what do you think about the review trimmed post issue?

Was going to look into that on Monday - its very sunny outside!! though I must admit i'm not totally sure what you mean by review trimmed post - in what context?
