The Creative America Project posits creativity as the basis for a winning politics and a proactive, holistic public policy. We believe artists and other creative professionals have values, skills and experience needed in public life and we urge them and train them to assume
leadership positions in the civic sector - including running for local office. Although we're based in Chicago and focused on the United States, we believe this approach can be applied to any country.
